Having the experience in being in solitude, since 1998 Skata had a dream to do music "going to prison was best thing to happen to my career; the focus to write, produce and plan” (mentions Skata)

Skata drew up the idea for the music label SRE. In 2005 SRE was born. At that time Skata decided to buy a small studio, and taught himself to record, edit, produce music and videos. Soon after Skata met SME who was also a rapper and found himself working with him on collaboration tracks, and put out a video called ‘Dirty North West’ this is when the Label SRE officially formed for the industry / fans to see.

Soon after one by one, the label was seen with more artists, and Skata decided to take a change in direction, to management of the label but deep down Skata is an artist at heart and doing music till this very day

Skata has rarely put out material recently is working in showing his artistic skills under the SRE Label, with a forthcoming mixtape and album late this year.
