My name is Sledgli Slim and I got that name really because I am slim and the Sledgi part derived from my real name. Originally, I am of Nigerian heritage and I Rap, Produce and sing on choruses.

Whilst I was growing up Michael Jackson was a huge influence on why I wanted to focus on music as a career However I ended up focuses more towards rap as a result of the surroundings I grew up in and my community. “HIP HOP WAS THE MUSIC OF MY YOUTH”.I have been rapping since I was a child as young as 11. However I started taking music more seriously n 2006. I have made a few R & B tracks as well as a few Dance.

Artists who have influenced me in terms of music are Tupac because to me he is the greatest hip hop artist of all time. Mobb Deep because that’s where I got my street side to my music from and lastly Jesus because like me he had a powerful message to tell and always had something good to say.

In five years time I see myself as a successful musician with my name well established in the industry as well as a Businessman.
