My name is Flirta D and I got that name as when I was younger I used to flirt with the girls but I wouldn’t particularly say I was a ladies man!

My parents are from Sierra Leone and I am an artist,Host and A+R.

I got into music through my twin sister when I was 13/14 as she used to listen to pirates such as ICE FM and FREAK FM and these were the ‘speed garage’ days. This is when I learnt how to flow to the old school garage tempo. I would say I’ve taken music more seriously since 2003, where I have performed at shows, events and private parties.

I do all types of music, including baseline, electro, funky, old school garage and hip hop however; I’m best known for my garage and grime music. I’ve worked with artists such as Frisco, Dotstar, Ribz, Major Ace, Sme lils, KIG, Gracious K, JME, Mr Wong, Crazy Titch, Lethal B, Nu Brand Flexxx, Enz Star, Ferrari, Dirty Dapz, Skata, Shizzle, MC Napper, Ozzie B, Ayak, Nikkie S, Nike, Big Nartsie, Snakeyman, C1, Desperado, Asher, Shaga, Roots Man, Didz, Baseboy and Slick Don.

Basically, my hobbies are; getting money or don’t wake up, and in 5 years time, I see myself doing bigger and better things with the people I’m around now!
